We lost one half of our team to education. Cassie and Brad are back at school, so we (Jenn and Adam) in an attempt to get over our sadness, hit the road and headed straight for St.Eustache, Quebec. Why you ask? Because St.Eustache is the place to be over the long weekend! Why is St.Eustache the place to be? Well because there is a DMCC race event here! And you know what that means...poutine... fast cars...sweet drifts... and did we mention poutine?

Since we have been abandoned by our other half... we are no longer doing the Casting Call, but instead are heading around the track with our camera to see what YOU have to say about Castrol, the race, or life in general. Once you say something to our camera we give you free stuff!!! Isn't that awesome?! You get to be on the internet and get free stuff!

So come check us out, we will be here until 2pm today!

A zen team is a happy team

After a long drive to and from Quebec, and a short trip to Windsor we got to spend the day with Castrol's top clients from Central Ontario, up North at Rocky Crest Resort, and although we were working, the escence of the Muskokas was just what we needed to feel relaxed and rejuvinated.

We spent the day on the golf course with Wakefield employees and Castrol clients getting some great footage of good AND bad drives! And spent the rest of the time documenting their trip so they will always be able to remember what a great day it was.

Thanks to our trip we are feeling 110 per cent and can't wait to hit Mosport Int'l Speedway tomorrow to cheer on DJK in the Canadian Tire Nascar Series! So come out and help us cheer him on! We will give you free stuff...but you will have to audition...but you could win the grande prize.... so it works out in your favour.

French is the language of love

We are back from Montmagny, Quebec, and boy was it an experience. We saw some sweet drift racing that gave the Fast and the Furious racers a run for their money, and we got to experience some french culture! Mmmmmm poutine!

The 10 hour drive there and back was totally worth it because the Quebecois sure do have enthusiasm! They showed their love for Castrol, all while speaking the language of love! Nous aimons les Quebecois and we can't wait to come back! We will be back in St. Eustache on Labour Day weekend, so everyone in St. Eustache get excited!

Right this second we are in Windsor, so if you are a fan of ours and kickin' about in the Windsor area come check us out at the Dan Kane Chevy dealership on Divison Road!

Classic Cars all around

We've been working hard at all of our great auditions from last week and are happy to say that if the auditions aren't already up they will be by early next week!

Tonight we are in Mississauga with the Mississauga Car Club. So if you live in Mississauga and have a hot-rod you want to show off, come on down to 5880 Mavis Road to show off your car and while you're here stop by our tent and tell us how much you love Castrol!

Ferdinand Porsche would be proud

Did you know that the Prosche company was created in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche, an Austro-Hungarian engineer who also designed the first Volkswagen.

But today we are not talking about Volkswagens we are talking about Porsches, the Porsches that Ferdinand Porsche and his family take pride in, the porsches that are right here with us! That's right, we are surrounded by Porsches! Aren't we lucky?! You could be surrounded by Porsches too, all you have to so is come to Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario!

We are here until 5pm today, and tomorrow too!

Fergus Truck Show

We are really excited to be at the Fergus truck Show this weekend! We have never been to it before, but everyone who has been in the past only has amazing things to say!!! It has 2,301 members on Facebook so it must be amazing!

We will be there from the 23rd to the 25th and we are looking forward to the bands, contests, truck and tractor pulls, and BBQs!

If you weren't planning on going to the Fergus Truck Show this weekend, re-arrange your plans and head up to Fergus because it's sure to be a grand time, and we'll be there!

We have also added some new props to our collection, so come show us how extreme and outgoing you can be and win some free Castrol Gear!!

Hello fellow car enthusiasts!!! Your Castrol Casting Call crew is going to be out in full force this weekend!

We are hitting up the Hamilton Cruzaders tomorrow night at Pier 4 in Hamilton for a night that is going to be an awesome time! We've gone down to Pier 4 Park before to hang out with the Cruzader and they sure do know how to have a good time! There is live music, tons of cars and some good eats! So come down to Hamilton tomorrow and check it out!

Speaking of awesome cars there will be a charity car show in Flamborough, Ontario on Saturday and all donation are going towards finding a cure for Breast Cancer! So come out from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday for the festivities and don't forget to dress in pink to show your support!

And last but not least we will be in Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday for Brits in the Park! So come out and check out the British car, it should be awesome!!

RIBFEST!!

Sorry we have been MIA for the last little bit, but we have ben so busy getting some great auditions, testimonials and interviews!

We have some amazing footage from the drag races in Alberta, so stay tuned for the videos we got of the Castrol Edge Car, and the jet trucks...they were crazy!!! We had so much fun in Calgary and Edmonton, but are happy to be back and in full force in Ontario!

We have been at RibFest in Etobicoke since Canada Day and we are loving it! None of us have gotten on any carnival rides yet, but by the end of this weekend one of us will give in and ride the Vortex... remember that ride?... you stick to the walls... and it is probably the best thing ever.

Anyways... come down to RibFest and check us out, you can't miss us... we're in the middle of the field!

Armageddon is an awesome movie, and also we are going to Alberta

Tomorrow we're leaving on a big jet plane...and we know when we'll be back again! Even though Ben Affleck won't be coming with us, we're still gonna have a great time. Our destination may not be a meteor flying towards the Earth... but it is Alberta.

If you don't get the Armageddon references... you should really see the movie, it is team approved.

But on a serious note, tomorrow we will be heading to Calgary and then to Edmonton to see if the folks out west have what it takes to be a Castrol Spokesperson! So stay tuned because our antics are sure to be filled with humourous tomfoolery.

What's coming up?

We are pumped to be going back to the Oakville Soccer Club tonight. The kids there are so enthusiastic about both the Goal and Casting Call contests! Check out the auditions from last week at: www.changeyouroilchangeyoulife.com! We hope to get more like these ones!

Tomorrow we will be hitting the road bright and early so we can be at the Wasaga Beach Cruisers Fun Run! It's going to be an amazingly fun day in the sun with over 300 classic and custom cars and trucks, classic tunes and some great prizes! So come by and say hi!

We are getting really excited because on Wednesday we leave for Alberta! We will be spending one day in Calgary before heading to Edmonton for the Rocky Mountain Nationals! Stay tuned for more details!

A beautiful day at the race track!

Today we were at Mosport Raceway for the Canadian Tire Nascar Series, and the sun decided to join us again!!! We have really been lucking out with the beautiful weather!

If you didn't come out today, you should be jealous, because we had a blast. We were consistently busy with AWESOME auditions, got to hang out with our favourite racer of all time... DJ KENNINGTON... and we were even track side to see him slip into 6th place to finish the race in style! Stay tuned for awesome pictures and video!

As always, we had an amazing time at Mosport, and loved every last second of it! We even appreciated the scenic drive that allowed us to talk about nature and bond with one another...

Sadly, you will not be hearing from us for the next two days because we will be taking our "weekend," but be ready on Wednesday to see all of the awesome photos and video we captured over the weekend!

Grand Openings are Grand

Last night we had loads of fun at the Oakville Soccer Club doing both the Goal contest and the Casting Call contest! We don't regularly run both, but we thought since we were going to a soccer club we would get some out of this world GOOOOOOAAAAALLLSSSSS... and that we did.

Today we are at Waterford Truck and Trailer for their grand opening, they have the barbeque going and the weather looks like it's going to be on our side today! Let's cross our fingers so it stays that way.

Hamilton Cruizaders!

Today we were at Pier 4 Park in Hamilton for the Hamilton Cruizaders event! It was absolutely beautiful, we had the lake right behind our set up, it was very peaceful.

There were almost 300 classic cars that showed up today and they were so cool, some of the people were even dressed up as if they were in the 50s and 60s! We got lots of cool pictures and video so be sure to keep an eye out for them!

Milton Today

Last night at the Delaware Speedway was so much fun! We had a lot of great auditions, met so many great people and got to see DJ Kennington win his first race of the summer! We are so proud of him! We are really looking forward to seeing him race again this summer.

Today we are having a fun filled evening in Milton at the Milton Go Station with the Milton Cruise Club. Come out for some good music, classic cars and a BBQ! Our fingers are crossed, so hopefully it doesn't rain!

Delaware Speedway...GO DJ!!!!

Stoney Creek yesterday was awesome and we can't wait to get the auditions up to show you how extreme the Metro Freightliner Customer Appreciation Day patrons were!!!

Today we're at the Delaware Speedway and we are getting pumped up to watch the first race of the Nascar Canadian Tire Series! As we were setting up DJ Kennington came by our tent to say hi, and Cassie got a little bit giddy! We are all so excited to see him race. This should be an awesome day out in the sun watching these extreme racers put the pedal to the metal!

It's a beautiful day in Stoney Creek

So our parade was rained on...literally. We couldn't hold our mock auditions OR eat ice cream, appreciate cars, and listen to live music in Hamilton yesterday. But lucky for us, the weather is back on our side and we are hanging out with the big rigs today!!!

We are in Stoney Creek at the Metro Freightliner Customer Appreciation Day. We'll be here until 6pm. Today we are focusing on Castrol Tection Extra and Castrol Hypuron for all of you who have freight trucks and diesel engines!

So come check us out and while you're here you can see the Nascar race cars they have on display, they are sweet! All our photos will be on our Facebook page later on this weekend!

Thursday in Hamilton

Tomorrow we are out and about again, so come see us in Hamilton! We will be at the Cruzaders Car Club event at 4 Pier Park!

This event is going to be insane, there will be hot food, a live band, 400 classic cars... and MY FAVOURITE....ICE CREAM!!!!!

We will be there from 5:30pm-9pm, so come hang out with us, do a mock audition, get some killer swag... and eat some ice cream!

We had a lot of fun this past weekend with our fellow motor vehicle enthusiasts! Every day was a new adventure in a new town!

Also over the weekend we got a hold of Adam's pipe band photos... so all we have to do now is locate a scanner and they will be shared with the world!

Our weekend so far

We went to our very first car club event yesterday and it was so much fun! We were at the Mississauga Classic Car Club's first event of the summer! There were so many awesome classic cars there and the DJ even played classic music to set the mood, it felt like we had gone back in time!!!!

Today we are super excited to be in Waterloo at the Super Chevy Saturday Night hosted by the Golden Triangle Corvette Club, the event starts at 5pm but there are already so many Corvettes here! During the event there will be a charity barbecue and live music, so come hang out with us and try your hand at an extreme audition!!!

Mosport Raceway Victoria Day Weekend Video Blog

Back in action

After a couple of days in the office uploading the awesome auditions from last week, we are super pumped to be back on the frontline this weekend! Come hang out with us and try an audition to see if you could be a Castrol Spokesperson!

On Friday May 28, we will be at the Mississauga Classic Car Club's first event of the summer! This sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun, and there are supposed to be around 100 cars there! The event is being held in the A & W parking lot at 5880 Mavis Road (South of 401) in Mississauga from 6pm to dusk.

On Saturday May 29, we will be at the Super Chevy Saturday Night, being hosted by the Golden Triangle Corvette Club. This will be a great event with lots of cars and even a DJ! Come by and visit us in Waterloo, the event will be at Schlueter Chevrolet at 300 Weber Street North! We will be there from 5pm to dusk holding extreme auditions and giving away cool Castrol swag!

And the last event we will be at this weekend is with the Dundas/403 Cruisers at the Canadian Tire at 2510 Hyde Park Gate, in Oakville on Sunday, May 30 from 12pm to 4pm.

Our first race!

We're back from our first event! We were at Mosport International Speedway in Bowmanville, Ontario for the Victoria Day Speedfest Weekend, and it was awesome!

This was a brand new experience for the entire team, and it created new memories, as well as surfaced old ones that we were able to share with each other. Adam, for example, took a trip down memory lane to a time when he was a proud member of a pipe band, and marched the entire track at the Indianapolis Speedway before the famous Indy 500! I have been told there is photographic evidence of this, and I promise that by the end of the summer I will share them with all of you.

This weekend really brought us together as a team, and I think we are all so excited to spend the rest of the summer holding these extremely hilarious auditions with each other.

Hey I'm Jenn! I'm really excited to be a part of the Castrol Casting Call team this summer. If you follow this regularly you will quickly learn that I am extremely outgoing, and am really looking forward to watching contestants endure extreme conditions this summer!

I am a graduate in Media Studies and journalism, and in my spare time I love snowboarding, dance, writing, reading, music and travel. Hope to see you guys out there!

Hey, I’m Cassie, another member of the Castrol Casting Call crew. I am currently studying Health Science at the University of Western Ontario with a special interest in media. I love to travel with friends and family, so naturally, I’m really excited to hit the road this summer. Keep a look out for our Castrol tent at racings events across Canada because we’ll be waiting to make you a Castrol spokesperson.

Hello people of the Internet. My name is Brad and I am also a member of the casting call crew. For the past few years I have been studying media at the University Of Western Ontario and have really enjoyed it. On my spare time I enjoy the outdoors and swimming. During the winter I like snowmobiling and to go snowboarding. However, my real passion is film and am looking forward to shooting your auditions, hope to see you in front of the camera soon!

Hey Castrol Fans, I’m Adam! I’m really looking forward traveling across Canada this summer, and attending various automotive events. The auditions we’re holding are a fun and interactive way to get in touch with Castrol fans. I’ve just finished my Media Information Technoculture degree, as well as my French minor at the University of Western Ontario. During the winter I am a part-time ski instructor and coach and enjoy taking various ski trips throughout the season. I also enjoy the heading up to the cottage during the summer with family and friends for some boating and, of course, extreme relaxation!
